Utah Adults Back Huntsman’s Mexico Alliance Many adults in the Beehive State support their governor’s decision to interact with the Mexican government, according to a poll by Dan Jones & Associates released by the Deseret Morning News and KSL-TV. 78 per cent of respondents support Jon Huntsman’s planned alliance with Mexico. Huntsman—a Republican—was elected in November 2004, defeating Democratic candidate Scott Matheson with 57 per cent of all cast ballots. Huntsman took over from fellow Republican Olene Walker in January.
