Iran’s historical water constructions introduced in Mexico

Iran’s aqueduct civilization was introduced in Mexico international seminar which was held on March 22 on the World Water Day. Three lectures delivered speeches and five movies were screened by Iran in this seminar.

“This seminar was a good opportunity for Iran to introduce its thousands of years of achievements in the field of water management,” said Abdolah Oskouyi, Public Relations Manager of Iran’s Power Ministry.

“Rain", “Water & Civilization", “Water, Morning, and Life", “Kurit Historical Dam” and the silent musical movie of “Water and Civilization” were the movies which screened by Iran in the film section of World Water Festival in Mexico. Some pictures about Iran’s historical water constructions were also exhibited in this seminar.

“We participated in this seminar with the aim of introducing Iran’s water heritage and its role in forming civilizations during ancient times. Some traditional ceremonies in different provinces of the country were also displayed in these movies,” added Oskouyi.
