Mexico, RoK accelerate economic cooperation

Mexico and the Republic of Korea (RoK) have agreed to enhance their cooperation in the fields of trade, economics, real estate business, services and intellectual property rights, the Mexican Ministry of Economy announced on August 19.

The ministry highlighted export potential between the two countries, especially the export of farm and sea products and beverages from Mexico to the RoK as well as prospects of Korean investments in Mexico’s production of cars, home appliances and electronics.

The RoK ranks third among Mexico trading partners in Asia, following China and Japan. Two-way trade reached 3.5 billion USD in 2004.-Enditem
