Ambassadors of Germany, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico and Mongolia present letters of accreditation

COMMANDER of the Revolution Juan Almeida Bosque, vice president of the Council of State, accompanied by Bruno RodrĂ­guez Parilla, acting minister of foreign affairs, yesterday formally received the ambassadors of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Ecuador, the Republic of Peru, Mexico and Mongolia for the presentation of their letters of accreditation.

His Excellency Mr. Hans-Ulrich Lunscken, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany, was accompanied by Mr. Dietmar Geisendorf, first secretary, and Ms Annett Greiner, first secretary and, for the Cuban side, Angel Reigosa de la Cruz and Antonio Rodríguez Valcárcel, director and deputy director of Protocol, respectively; Marcos Hernández Sosa, Protocol attaché; and Major Eliades Vargas Moraga, chief of the Presidential Unit.

His Excellency Mr. Universi Zambrano, extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador, was accompanied by Her Excellency Ms Teresa Pico Moreira, wife of the ambassador; Ms Alba Coello de Barboza, couselor; and Ms. Noralma Vera Amath, third secretary and, for the Cuban side, Angel Reigosa de la Cruz and Miguel Lamazares Puello, director and deputy director of Protocol, respectively; Nora Alberteris Monterrey, Protocol attaché; and Lieutenant-Colonel Ricardo Palacios González, chief of the Presidential Unit.
