Minneapolis sex criminal deported to Mexico

A convicted kidnapper who sexually attacked a woman in Minneapolis five years ago was deported to Mexico this past week, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in Bloomington said today.

Domingo Penaloza-Cabrera, 36, was turned over to Mexican authorities on Wednesday, the office said.

Penaloza-Cabrera was convicted in a Hennepin County District Court in 2001 of kidnapping and attempted first-degree sexual conduct for attacking a woman he met in a Minneapolis nightclub. Instead of taking the woman home, he drover her to the Mississippi River, sexually assaulted her, then beat her with a metal pipe and tried to drown her.

Fox Leaves Washington With Message Of Cooperation

Mexican President Vicente Fox is again urging cooperation between Mexico and the U.S. as he awaits a Congressional decision on immigration reform.

Speaking Thursday at the Rainier Club in Seattle, Fox said education and a strong economy are the keys to stemming the flow of people north out of Mexico.

Afterward, Fox left for California, where he will meet with Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and the mayor of Los Angeles.

Earlier Thursday, Fox spent some time with patients at a south Seattle clinic that treats poor immigrants.

Fatigue not a problem for Mexico striker Borgetti

Fatigue not a problem for Mexico striker Borgetti

Many of the worlds top players are likely to arrive at the World Cup weary from a long hard European season.
Not so, Mexico striker Jared Borgetti.

The 32-year-old, his countrys all-time leading scorer with 37 goals in 74 outings, became the first Mexican to play in the English Premier League when he signed for Bolton Wanderers before the 2005-06 season.

What appeared to be a dream move late in his career has turned to frustration for Borgetti, who was restricted to less than a handful of starts all season.

It will be fascinating to see whether the lack of competitive football will leave Borgetti off the pace or whether, as with Brazils Ronaldo in 2002, it will mean he is fresh and raring to go.

Mexico, a team often accused of lacking the knockout punch, will certainly need an in-form Borgetti if they are to mount a serious challenge in Germany.

Mexico reports trade gains

Mexico posted an unexpected trade surplus in April as exports climbed, buoyed by near-record high oil prices and growing U.S. demand for Mexican-made automobiles, a report said Wednesday.

Exports rose 13.9 percent in April from the same month a year ago, a Finance Ministry report showed. Imports rose 7.3 percent. The country posted a trade surplus of $464 million after a $147 million deficit in March.

Economists had expected a trade deficit of $330 million, according to a Bloomberg survey.
Were still seeing very strong growth compared to previous years, David Franco, an economist for JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Mexico City, said before the reports release. External demand continues to be a key driver in the equation.

Mexico warning on US border wall

The construction of a wall is not the answer to illegal immigration into the US, the Mexican president has said.

Immigration was the most pressing challenge in ties with the US but also their greatest opportunity, Vicente Fox said on the second day of his US visit.

It comes amid fierce US debate over an immigration reform bill which could benefit millions of Mexican migrants.

Mexicos Threatened Lawsuits Ludicrous, Says Attorney

A constitutional attorney with the American Family Association says the recent threat of a lawsuit against the U.S. by the Mexican government over border security is absurd.

The threatened lawsuit is in response to President Bushs pledge to use National Guard troops along the U.S.-Mexico border to bolster the efforts of the Border Patrol, primarily in support roles such as logistics and medical support. The Pentagon has stated that the bulk of personnel for the mission would be taken from National Guard troops in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas – the four border states.

Following the presidents announced intentions, a representative for Mexican President Vicente Fox stated that if the National Guard troops detain Mexican citizens crossing the border illegally, the Fox government will file lawsuits. Steve Crampton, chief counsel for the Center for Law & Policy and a constitutional expert, says while such a lawsuit is technically possible, it is not likely.

During later stops in Seattle, hell huddle with Latino business and community leaders.

The message behind the visit: Dont underestimate the importance of Mexican immigration – both legal and illegal.

Gelles Racing Monterrey, Mid-Ohio Saturday notes

Gelles Racing Champ Car Atlantic driver Stephen Simpson will start from second row in Sunday morning 3rd round of the Atlantic Champ Car series held at Fundidora Park in Monterrey, Mexico. The South African was fourth in the second qualifying in his #14 Western Union machine but overall times were faster than his second place of yesterday. His teammate Robbie Pecorari suffered a suspension problem with an off-track excursion and will start a distant 23rd. Meanwhile, the first round of the Formula BMW USA in Mid-Ohio saw four Gelles drivers finish in the Top Ten with Adrian Herberts best of them with a 6th overall. All Gelles racers will race tomorrow with events in Monterrey and Mid-Ohio.

Stephen finally demonstrates how fast he is, said team owner Bob Gelles. I think he will step on the podium tomorrow: his car was very quick today and he missed first row by 0,14 second. He will be in the hunt tomorrow for his first win on a track he likes very much. Robbie struggled all weekend and never found the proper setup with engineer Dave Conti. He will start from the back, but he proved last week in Houston he can come from a long way in traffic.

Newsmakers Pachuca reigns in Mexico

Uruguayan forward Richard Núñez scored on a penalty kick late in the second half, and the host Tuzos of Pachuca defeated Real San Luis 1-0 on Sunday to claim their fourth Mexican First Division championship in seven years.

Both teams battled to scoreless draw Thursday in the first leg of the home-and-home, aggregate scoring series.

Núñez scored the series lone goal in the 78th minute after teammate Andrés Chitiva was brought down inside the penalty area by Real defender Angel Reyna.

The score sent the 25,000 in attendance at Hidalgo Stadium into a frenzy.

Army OF Americas Forming, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Kill Foreign $$ Dictators

Army OF Americas Forming, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Kill Foreign $$ Dictators

I have good news. A move is on throughout the Americas for a new Army to retake the Americas for us, the Americans, the mix breeds of the old world with no allegiance to anyone but divine conscience for the humane kind. We are the poor by their caste design. International, trained, and unrelenting.

Below are excerpts from my website Mobile Audit Club. I am encouraging new trading partners and business ventures among the poor of the Americas, trading in anything they can under arranged exchanges at arms length. In the end, I want a new Army of the Americas. We must unite with the poor of the world to always have the best weaponry in those nations and not to lose track of the humane condition under ideal circumstances. The regime of $$ has become brutal. An eye for an eye my mullato and Italian descendants and Anglo brothers to the South in Brazil, we will be recruiting the North and South.

Foreword May 20, 2006: I encourage attacks on the regime and their closed government meetings and corrupt courts, henceforth. (Todays late post on Canada Indymedia asking for my release from the USA or my death). Recently I walked across private family property in the woods in Alabama in the USA. Some people greeted me. They fired some Pellet guns and one of them said, Play some more music for us Kurt, You stupid Motherfucker. Another one said something about me being a Nigger lover, which was odd because most people in the area are not like that there anymore. I could see one man was not a child. I play guitar in the woods sometimes, for myself and the creator and his children of no flesh like us, or just to see if any birds respond, Whip Or Will You Will Be Deal, was heard once long ago in an unparalleled echo, right after Jack Is In the Crack, 4-3-2001, ask ex Sheriff Jack Tillman of Mob AL, as he heard it when I had my guitar at the closed gate of the reigning enemy government in Mobile Alabama, their illusion of democracy, a veiled abusive dictatorship.
